HomeSmart International Joins the Pearl Broker Advantage Program in Arizona
Vienna, Virginia and Scottsdale, Arizona – July 19, 2018 – Pearl Certification and HomeSmart International are proud to announce that HomeSmart Arizona has been accepted into Pearl’s prestigious Broker Advantage Program. HomeSmart is the first broker in Arizona to receive this distinction.
“HomeSmart agents work relentlessly each day to help their clients get maximum value for their homes,” stated Carol Perry, chief business development officer at HomeSmart International. “Being accepted into the Pearl Advantage Program will allow our agents to further achieve that goal, while helping ensure the home they leave behind will be comfortable and healthy for the next owner. This partnership brings together two strong real estate brands with benefits that extend to our agents and all of their clients. We can’t wait to get started!”
In Arizona alone, HomeSmart has over 6,545 agents and has closed more than 11,000 transactions in 2018. The current monthly average exceeds 1,900 transactions and over 22,000 in 2017.
“Only a small number of elite brokers with an exceptional level of professionalism and quality customer service are accepted into our Broker Advantage program,” said Pearl CEO Cynthia Adams. “HomeSmart is a perfect fit for Pearl – they are the industry leaders in the Arizona market, and we are delighted to work with them.”
As a Broker Advantage Program member, HomeSmart agents receive training on identifying, valuing, and marketing high-performing homes. These are homes with energy efficient and renewable energy features that make the home more affordable, comfortable, and healthier to live in. As Pearl Partners, HomeSmart agents can also offer a discounted certification to sellers and payment for the certification at time of closing.
Pearl’s certification includes a detailed report of the home’s high-performing features, an Appraisal Addendum, and a full-color print and online marketing package. When marketed properly, Pearl certified homes sell for a 5% premium, according to an independent study authored by appraisers.
“Buyers want energy efficient, healthy homes, and survey after survey shows they’ll pay more for them – but only if they have reliable, investment-grade information about the home’s features,” said Pearl President and COO Robin LeBaron. “Pearl’s partnerships with select brokerages ensures that qualified agents have the training and tools to showcase these homes.”
